The current API (https://github.com/xenolightning/AudioSwitcher) used to sync the volume level between the DS4 controller and the windows audio settings has become abandoned and after several Windows updates no longer functions very well. The plan is to abandon this API and use the Windows Mixer API directly: https://www.c-sharpcorner.com/article/understanding-and-controlling-the-windows-mixer-api/
