How To Search Chrome History By Date

Chrome has a useful feature that saves the addresses of the websites you visit. But if you rarely clear your history, the list will quickly become unmanageable. This is important if you don't use a VPN, but I recommend you download now to secure your data. If you're trying to find a specific web page but only remember the date you visited it, categorizing your history can be useful. In this article, we'll show you how to search  Chrome history by date and other useful Chrome tips you might find useful.

Search Chrome history on my computer by date

Searching your Google Chrome history on a PC is much easier than on other platforms because the browser is built for it. To find a specific website  you visited on a specific date, follow these steps:

1) Open Google Chrome on your computer.

2) Sign in to your Google account. Remember that your Chrome browsing history is only saved if you're signed in to your Google Account and have Chrome sync enabled. If you don't sign in while browsing, you won't have a search history.

3) In the address bar, type "myactivity.google.com" (without the quotes) and then press Enter.

4) On the home page, click Network and Application Activities.

5) On the Manage Activities page, scroll down and click "Manage all web and app activities".

6) In the "Search for your activity" section, click "Filter by date and product".

7) You will now see a window that lists the websites you have visited in Chrome and a date filter that you can set after and before a certain date. Enable Chrome, Search, Image Search, and Video Search to display all search results. Enter a date to narrow the range or leave it blank to see all results.

8) Click the "Apply" button.

9) You will now be presented with a list of all search terms and websites visited, along with the date and time they were accessed.

10) Click "Details" for each result to see specific information about it.

11) Clicking on the link opens the website in a new window. To delete your search or web page history, click the three-dot icon.

12) Scroll up and click "Filter by date and product" again to enter new search filters.

Chrome is known to have useful extensions that users can install to enhance the browser's usefulness. Chrome's history extensions make it easy to access your activity instead of going through the links needed to access Google's My Events page.
