This still does not have the automatic ViGEm driver install that is waiting on the newest version of ViGEm, but it does have a dialog when that plugin is chosen that takes you to the walk through of the powershell commands.

Everything else is pretty standard except the HID Guardian installer has been updated with the v2 device ID's in the reg key (finally).

Let me know of any or all quirks you run across, but as far as I know this should be good for Windows 7 and newer both x86 and 64 bit.

Don't have a link off hand, but the failed package full name is Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2013 Update 5 x86

found it and it installed ok, IM setup didn't flag it this time, so going to finish the install and will let you know it goes.

Weird, guess I gotta find a way to enable verbose logging in sub packages

I still cannot figure out what caused that for you, I tried several scenarios in my VM's and I cannot get that package to error out. I wish I haden't told you to DL separately because I may never know what caused it now.

To be safe, I am going to disable the "silent" or "background" install of sub packages so if they do have an issue the sub packages' installer can give more direct cause.

Also, I have to do something about these mid-post ads. The Google "smart/automatic" blah blah blah isnt working very well.

I guess we'll have to see if any others report any issues. Other than that the install went fine. I did remove the IM appdata folder to do a clean install. Did leave ViGEm and guardian installed and they worked fine. Transferring my profiles back, found they no longer worked. Looked like it was because of the renaming of IM, and also seen the id was different. You might want to give others a heads up on that if the try to install over a nightly build, cause IM wont work.

Are you gonna start a topic to post problems and feature request?

I would like to see a radial curve option. Also wondering if it is possible to set an +/- axis offset for calibration purposes. There is really no way to calibrate a DS4 in windows. Was thinking could use Xinput test and set an offset to zero the controller. My controlles rest at -500 to -1000 or more, makes it hard to swing center on the Y axis with a golf swing starting at a negative value.

There is already a curve in mapping options, the TDC calibration is a good point, didn't think anybody really used that

I would get DQ using axial one in my golf games as the would show zero deviation.

Gotcha, meantime, an option would be to create a macro to do a temporary mapping that drops one axis sensitivity to say .2 so it still has deviation but not nearly as much
